Scrambled Egg with Corn and Tuna Flakes

I cooked this from my leftover ingredients corn from maja, tuna from my tuna sandwich :-), my friends and I enjoyed this simple yet delicious viand.

Ingredients:
3 eggs beaten
2 tablespoons tuna flakes
2 tablespoons corn kernel
1 small onion ( sliced)
salt and pepper to taste

Procedure:
1. Combine the corn and tuna flakes with the beaten eggs and set aside.
2. Saute the onion then put the egg mixture and cook it into scramble.
3. Serve when done.

Chocolate Waffles


Just trying different flavors of waffles so that I can share with you the recipe, chocolate flavor is awesome!!! More flavors coming very very soon :-).

Ingredients for 10-12 waffles:
250 grams flour
100 grams corn starch
100 grams sugar
5 grams baking powder
7 grams salt
600 ml fresh milk
1 tablespoon butter or margarine
1 teaspoon oil
1 egg yolk
1 egg white ( beaten until foamy)
1/2 cup chopped chocolate bar ( any brand)


Procedure:
1. In a blender put the egg yolk, salt, sugar, baking powder, oil, butter and milk then blend for a minute, add the cornstarch and flour then blend until  no more lumps.
2. Pour the mixture in a big mixing bowl then fold in the egg white and continue folding until fully combined.
3. Set the waffle machine  at 250C and brush it with butter, when it is hot, pour each mold up to 1/2 full then put the some chopped chocolate, then add more mixture until totally full and close the cover and wait for 2-3 minutes or until cooked.
4. Waffles are now ready to be served.

Coconut Salad

My family was surprised when I served them this dish and even more surprised when they have tasted it, speechless because they do not have any idea that a dish like this is really good. Simple and easy to prepare.

Ingredients:
1 cup grated matured coconut
1 onion ( sliced thinly)
1/2 cup flaked fried fish
2 tablespoons calamansi or lime juice
salt and pepper to taste

Procedure:
1. Combine all the ingredients until fully mixed then put some chili if you like.
2. Serve with fried or grilled meat or fish.

Special Bam-i



I cooked this for my sister-in-law's birthday , they said it's yummy.


Ingredienys for 12-15 servings:
1/2 kilo sotanghon (soaked in tap water then cut to your desired length)
1/2 kilo canton
1/2 kilo pork ( sliced )
3 pieces Chorizo ( sliced)
 1 onion (minced)
3 cloves garlic (minced)
1/4 kilo cabbage ( stips)
2 carrots ( Sliced)
1 red bell pepper ( sliced)
1 cup sliced squid balls
1 cup chicharo
1 cup sliced Baguio beans or green beans
5 cups water
1/4 cup soy sauce
1 dozen quail's egg ( cooked and de-shelled)
salt and pepper to taste


Procedure:
1. Saute garlic and onion then add the pork and continue to saute until the pinkish color is gone. Then add the soy sauce and simmer for a minute, add the water and bring to a boil, allow to boil for 5 minutes.
2. Add the carrots, Baguio beans and sotanghon and simmer for a minute then add all ingredients except for quails egg, Mix well and simmer until cooked.
3. Serve it hot and put some quail's egg.



Mixed Fruit Smoothie


I made some fruit salad today but there were some leftover fruits nad I've decided to make it into smoothie, mmmmmmmmm so yummy.

Ingredients for 15 servings:
1 Banana
1/2 piece avocado
4 pieces strawberry
5 pieces grapes
3/4 cup condensed milk
ice


Procedure:
1. Slice the fruits into small pieces then put in the blender together with the milk, put ice up to 3/4 full of the blender then on it, continue blending until the ice is so smooth.
2. Serve immediately or you can top it with whipped cream.

Ensaladang Talbos ng Camote at Itlog na Maalat

Perfectly yummy!!

Ingredients:
2 medium size tomato ( sliced)
2 salted egg
1 bunch potato tops ( talbos ng camote)
2 tablespoons calamansi or lemon juice
1 onion ( sliced thinly)
salt and pepper to taste

Procedure:
1. Blanch the camote tops, drain, put in a serving platter then sprinkle with 1 tablespoon of lemon juice salt and pepper.
2. Add the onion, tomato and salted egg on top then sprinkle with the rest of the lemon juice then salt and pepper to taste and serve.

How To Make French Fries Perfectly

French fries does not mean that this fries came or originated in France. French in cooking means slicing vegetables or meat into thin strips almost like julienne.It was believed that in 1802 french fries were serve at the white house dinner as ordered by Pres. Thomas Jefferson, but during that time the name is not yet french fries, but potatoes were serve in french manner and as time goes by in some places also they have this version of cooking the potatoes and it is now a popular fast food item called french fries. Patates Frites as French called it. In  Philippine food chain stores the term french fries is being used. Since it is weekend, I decided to post this recipe, because most of the weekends moms and dads stay with their kids at home. Just in case you want to have something to munch for the weekend with your loved ones,  french fries is an affordable and easy to serve. Happy weekend everyone. :).


Ingredients:
2 big potatoes ( french sliced)
3 cups water
salt  to taste
Oil for frying

Procedure:
1. Boil the water then put the french sliced potatoes and boil until half cooked, then remove from water and freeze for an hour.






2. after an hour heat the oil then deep fry until done then sprinkle with salt and serve it with your favorite sauce.



Mami with Ham



I just want to share this mami with crispy ham, it is really yummy.

Ingredients for 6-8 servings:
1/2 kilo egg noodles or pancit ( blanched and set aside)
1 kilo any bones of beef/pork/chicken (buto-buto)
1 onion
1 teaspoon peppercorn ( pamintang buo)
1/4 kilo sweet ham ( crispy bits)
salt to taste
10 cloves garlic ( crushed and toasted for toppings)
1 cup minced spring onion ( for toppings)
4 hard boiled eggs ( cut into halves for toppings) optional
3 liters water
ground pepper for serving


Procedure:
1. In a pot, put the water, bones, onion, and black pepper  then let it boil for an hour over low heat, then add salt to taste.
3. In a serving bowl arrange the noodles, egg, garlic, spring onion, and crispy ham then pour the simmering soup.
4. Sprinkle with ground pepper, serve immediately and enjoy :-).

Sapsap na Pinangat sa Kamatis

Ponyfish or sapsap is a small silvery fish   creamy tasting fish,   Simple yet delicious.


Ingredients:
1/2 kilo Sapsap
1 cup water
1 onion
2 cups sliced tomatoes
salt and pepper to taste

Procedure:
1. In a pot put the tomatoes, onion, sapsap, salt and pepper then cover and until it is simmering.
2. Add the water then cover and let it boil until the fish is fully cooked.
3. Serve with love and patis for extra flavor :-).

Pesang Bangus



A light fish flavored soup that will keep you satisfied. :-)

Ingredients for 4 servings:
1 medium size Bangus ( cleaned and sliced into 4)
1/2 kilo cabbage
3 cloves garlic
1  onion
thumb size ginger ( strips)
1/2 teaspoon peppercorns ( pamintang buo)
1/4 cup fish sauce (patis)
4 cups water ( add if needed)

Procedure:
1. Saute the garlic, ginger and onion, then add the water, peppercorns and fish sauce,  bring to a boil, when boiling add the fish and continue to boil until cooked.
2. Add the cabbage then simmer for 2 minutes, add salt if necessary then simmer until done
3. Serve it hot and enjoy.
