Pancit- Filipino noodles

Pancit is always a part in every Filipino celebration, specially during birthdays. I always like pancit  with lots of carrots and cabbage. In some countries that I've visited original Filipino pancit is not available, and sometimes the craving for a pancit dish is hard to control. That is the time when you start to look for an option. In this recipe I used instant noodles and here is how to do it.

Ingredients:
2 packs instant noodles ( cooked without the flavoring ) Strained and set aside.
1/4 kilo chicken
1 piece small carrot
1/4 kilo cabbage
3 tablespoons soy sauce
1 small bell pepper
1 cup water
salt and  pepper to taste

Procedure:
1. Saute the garlic and the onion, then add the meat, braised for a minute.
2. Add soy sauce, salt, pepper and water, then bring to a boil, once boiling add add the carrot, bell pepper and cabbage then simmer until tender.
3. Add the drained noodles, mix it well then turn off the heat.
4. Serve hot

You can sprinkle it with green or spring onion. Enjoy your food:)
