Simple Pancake

According to the article that I've read about pancakes"archaeological evidence suggests that varieties of pancakes are probably the earliest and most widespread types of cereal food eaten in prehistoric societies whereby dry carbohydrate-rich seed flours mixed with the available protein-rich liquids, usually milk and eggs, were baked on hot stones or in shallow earthenware pots over an open fire to form a nutritious and highly palatable foodstuff"
A well known breakfast in most countries all over the world , pancake is very easy to make, although there are different varieties of making it, with milk, without milk, with different fillings, etc. But the one that I am going to share is a simple and easy one. It is really delicious.

Ingredients:
1cup flour
1 cup milk
3 tablespoons sugar
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 egg ( beaten)
2 tablespoons butter or margarine ( melted)

Procedure:
1. In a big bowl sift (salain) together the flour, sugar, salt and baking powder
2. Then make a well or space at the center and put the beaten egg, milk and melted butter.
3. Mix it thoroughly until  smooth or firm.
4. Heat a butter or a little oil and spoon a portion of the pancake mixture and cook until both sides are brown.
5. Serve hot with pancake syrup or your favorite fruits.
