Seafood Tinola

Seafood Tinola is one of the popular dishes in the Davao Region of Philippines, where seafood is abundant. The soup of this dish is distinctively yummy because the flavors of each ingredients are blending well, specially if there are some shells, but it is not available in my place so I prepared this simple one.

250 grams fresh fish fillet ( either flounder, tuna, salmon)
200 grams crab
200 grams shrimps
2 tomatoes
5 cups water
1 onion
some chilis
spring onion

1. Clean all the seafood then set aside.
2. In a pot put the water, onion and tomatoes, cover and let it boil.
3. When it is already boiling put all the ingredients then simmer until done.
4. Serve it hot. :-).

  1. Is this the same with "sinigang"?

  2. nope, this is plain and simple, no tamarind, all you can taste is the natural savor of fresh seafood, mmmmmm yummy!

  3. Hm, interesting. I will try this...soon I hope :).

  4. In the fish business "crisp" particularly alludes to an item that has never been solidified; it gives definitely no understanding to the real nature of that item or its "freshness". Fish and Seafood
