In my place prawns are abundant, and we just cooked it with tomatoes or just saute it, so to deviate from the usual way of cooking it, I added some watercress and almonds to my recipe. The result is very good and tasty. Here is the ingredients and procedure for this dish.
10 pieces prawns
50 grams almonds
1 cup water cress ( can be replaced with kangkong)
3 cloves garlic
1 tablespoon butter
1 teaspoon lemon or calamansi juice
salt and pepper to taste
1. Saute the garlic in the butter until golden brown.
2. Add the prawns and simmer until reddish then add the lemon juice, salt and pepper to taste, then simmer for a minute.
3. Add the watercress and almonds, then simmer until done.
4. Serve it hot.
