Pastillas de Leche

Learn the non-cooking way of making "Pastillas de leche". Easy to make milk candy that you will definitely like. If you can notice this recipe has no sugar in the ingredients, that's the good thing about it, because I replaced the sugar with powdered milk. Here is how to do it.

Ingredients:
200 grams powdered milk
1 cup condensed milk
extra powdered milk for dusting

If you will use cup for measurement follow this ingredients:
1 1/4 cup  full cream milk powder
1/2 cup condensed milk

Procedure:
1. In a mixing bowl pour in the condensed milk then gradually add the powdered milk until you form a firm dough-like mixture.
2. Spoon a portion of the mixture and by using your hands, roll it and form into cylindrical shape. When it starts to stick on your hands, just dust your palms with powdered milk to avoid sticking.
3. Roll over the powdered milk then use the strainer to shake off the extra powdered milk and wrap with water cellophane and serve.

Note: If after mixing the ingrdients the mixture is too wet, just add more powdered milk, until you can handle it and wont stick on your palms.

  11. i used skim milk but i am not satisfied with the outcome. it is wet and too sticky that i cnt mold it right. and its rough. what will i do then?

    1. Do not use skim milk because the texture of it is rough unlike full cream powdered milk or just the normal powdered milk ( bear brand, nido, alaska, etc)
