Ginataang Kalabasa at Malunggay

Re-cooked August 8, 2014

Recently I am always considering the health value of my food and this simple vegetable dish is very nutritious so do not turn this down, malunggay or horse radish has vitamin c, vitamin a and high in calcium that is good for lactating mothers to produce more milk for their babies. On the other hand squash is a good source of vitamins B1, C, B6, niacin, etc. I love this dish, it's delicious too.

Ingredients:
1/2 kilo squash
1 cup malunggay ( horse radish)
2 cups coconut milk
fried fish
1 cup water
salt to taste

Procedure:
1. In a pot put the squash, fried fish, water and 1 cup of coconut  milk and salt, bring to a boil.

2. Once boiling, stir and simmer until the squash is cooked.
3. Increase the heat and add the malunggay and the other cup of coconut milk, simmer for few seconds then turn off the heat.

4. Serve it hot and do not forget to smile :-)
