    Pork Ribs Asado

All I can say is tender and yummy. :-)

    1/2 kilo  pork ribs
    1/4 cup soy sauce
    1/4 cup brown sugar
    4 cloves garlic, minced
    1/2 teaspoon Worcester sauce
    2  cups water
    1/2  teaspoon five spice powder
    salt and pepper to taste

    1. Marinade the pork ribs in soy sauce, five spice, Worcester Sauce overnight.
    2. Saute the garlic then put the marinated pork ribs together with the marinating sauce then allow to boil.
    3. Add the water and brown sugar then stir and simmer for few minutes until tender.
    4. Once tender, increase the heat to make the sauce evaporate, making the asado just saucy but not dry.
    5. Serve hot with rice.

    4. If its not available you can remove it and just add 1 tablespoon of vinegar, honey or add the sugar measurement, fish sauce

    5. Hi po sis mely maraming salamat po sa mga recipes its all yummy i try to cook each pg ur recipes that posted thanks be to God

    6. I'm not really a spice person. How is it without the five spice?

    7. for 5 spice it encompasses each of five flavor groups: sweet, sour, salty, bitter, and spicy-hot.

You can try a combination that's something along the lines of these proportions:

2 teaspoons of Szechuan peppercorns, roasted & ground
      8 star anise, ground
      ½ teaspoon ground cloves
      1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
      1 tablespoon ground fennel seeds
